Marion S. Dagg, 91, of Livonia (formerly of Dearborn), passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019. Mrs. Dagg was born April 22, 1927 in Detroit to Harold R. & Edna M. (nee Lingley) Parker, the first of their three children. She met and married Harvey J. Dagg on Dec. 11, 1946. They raised their three children in Dearborn. After moving to Livonia Marion became active in St. Timothy Church where she served as a Deacon, a member of the Women's Guild, and tended the church gardens. Being an avid gardener, she joined the Livonia Garden Club. Her volunteerism included tending the peony garden at Greenmead Historical Village, creating flower arrangements for Angela Hospice patients, helping in the Records Department at St. Mary's Hospital and delivering Meals-on-Wheels.
Mrs. Dagg is survived by her daughter, Linda (Don) Sharpe, son, Ken, sister, Mrs. Dorothy Loudon and grandsons, Adam (Niki) Sharpe, Robbie (Lauretta) Dagg, Brian (Leslie) Dagg, and Jason Dagg. Also survived by her great-grandsons, Austin and Evan Dagg.
In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Harvey J. (1995), son, Bob, and brother, Byron Parker.
Family and friends may join together for the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Presbyterian Church, 16700 Newburgh, Livonia, Michigan. Private burial was at Parkview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Timothy Church or Greenmead Historical Park.
