Mark Andrew Shandilis

Mark was the beloved husband of over 24 cherished years to Jacqueline Shandilis and a devoted, loving father to Alexander Shandilis. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in the life they built together. He was a dear brother to John (Karen) Shandilis, Christine Peterson, Susan (Michael) Verbal, Thomas Shandilis, Michael Shandilis, Mary (David) Wise, and Phillip (Alma) Shandilis, sharing with them a lifetime of memories, laughter, and enduring bonds.

Mark had a deep appreciation for the simple joys that bring people together. He loved boating and camping, finding peace and happiness in the outdoors. Some of his favorite moments were spent watching football with friends, cheering, laughing, and enjoying the camaraderie. He was also part of a pool league, where the friendships he formed were just as meaningful as the games themselves. More than anything, Mark cherished time with his family and the people he loved, always happiest when surrounded by those closest to him.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, located at 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, 48152. This will be followed by a memorial service at the same location, beginning at 4:00 pm.

Donations in memory of Mark can be made to the American Heart Association.

Mark will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
