Marlene Joy Dickson

Marlene Dickson, age 88, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Robert A. Dickson. Loving mother of Todd A.(Lorelei) Dickson, Tori Herndon-Dickson, Glenn Scott (Patricia) Dickson, and Rob (Kym) Dickson. Dearest grandma to William, Lindsay, Nolan, Ashley, Scott, Desmond, Connor, and Grant. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Susie Bridges and her brother Gilbert Bridges. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

She embraced the thrill of shopping, expressed her passion through the melodies of the piano, and radiated warmth as a gracious host of memorable parties. Marlene's love for the sun reflected her zest for life as she basked in its rays during cherished moments of sunbathing.

For over 30 years, Marlene dedicated herself to the Elks, embodying the spirit of community service and camaraderie. Her commitment to the Ward Church Northville made her a pillar of strength, contributing actively to its vibrant congregation.

Marlene's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness, music, and the shared moments of celebration. May she rest in eternal peace

A visitation will be held Friday, December 22, from 5:00-8:00pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152. An in state will be held Saturday, December 23, at 10am, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 am at Ward Church Northville, 40000 Six Mile Rd, Township of Northville, MI 48168.
