Martha Ann Jakubik

Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Jakubik for 50 years. Cherished mother of Paul (Louise). Dear grandmother of John (Jane), Steven, and Christopher. Dearest and very proud great grandmother of Lauren. Of special note, Martha was reunited with Jack, her beloved husband, on the day of their 64th Wedding Anniversary.

Born and raised in Detroit, Martha was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Martha and her siblings, Jack and Mary.

Martha was a lady who went to college in her 30’s, was a proud graduate of U of M Dearborn in 1973 and became a successful businesswoman, primarily as a property manager. She was an active participant in the Northville Women’s Club for many years. Family was very important to Martha; her support for her family and friends was unwavering. Martha attended as many of her grandsons’ school and sporting events as possible. She was a role model to all who knew and loved her and she will be missed!

Visitation, Thursday February 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a scripture service at 7:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home: 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48152. Funeral mass Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10:30 AM (in state 10:00 AM) at St. Colette Catholic Church: 17600 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to both the staff at Cedarbrook Assisted Living and CARE Team Hospice personnel for their friendship, loving care and service to Martha.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the following: Michigan Parkinson’s Foundation, the Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s, or to a Charity of your choice.
