Mary Margaret Brennan

Mary was born Mary Margaret Meyers to William V. and Mary (Sarchet) Meyers in Detroit on July 24, 1924. She left us at about 2:15 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Angela Hospice Care Center in Livonia, Michigan. She was 91 years old. She had been sick just over a week with pneumonia. Her last residence was in Westland.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Richard K. Brennan in 1998, having been married 51 years. She leaves behind 4 sons James A., Richard K. (wife Kim), Robert G. (wife Robyn), and Barry L. (wife Annette) Brennan and her dear sister Judith (Philip) Bondie. She also leaves 9 granddaughters and 14 great grandchildren.

Mary retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1979 having worked in the Export Division. Among other hobbies, she was an avid bowler, reader, and crafter involving various sewing arts. She donated many of her crafts to church and charity. She was a faithful Detroit Tigers’ fan. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. She was well loved by her family and will be missed by all.

Mary's family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday May 7, 2016 from 3-5 pm with Funeral Service, 4 pm, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.

Mary will be inurned at Great Lakes National Cemetery with her husband Richard at a later date.
