Mary Lyskawa (nee Kurdziel) Age 90. March 13, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Edmund. Dear mother of Michael (Grace) Lyskawa, Thomas (RoseAnn) Lyskawa, Steven Lyskawa (Mary Seibert), Patricia (Craig) Fishbeck, and Dianne (Thomas) Wrenbeck. Treasured Busia of Michael Jr. (Jackie), Patrick (Amanda), Alan (Sara), Julia (Nathaniel), Benjamin, Elizabeth (Jason), Andrew, Valerie (Brad), Lisa (Aaron), Scott, Karen (Christopher), Andrea, and Jeffrey. Great Grandmother of Stephanie, Joe, Allison, Abigail, Claire, Aiden, Caden and Zachary. Pre-deceased by nine siblings. Cherished sister of Dorothy (late Eugene) Baczynski. Good friend of Mary Koziol. Mary was a member of St. Kenneth Catholic Church, a proud switchboard telephone operator for the JL Hudson Co., a long-time Pvt. John Lyskawa VFW Auxiliary member and recently a resident of the Oakmont Northville Senior Community. Visitation will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, Mi on Sunday, March 17 from 1-8 pm with Rosary at 7pm. Instate Monday, March 18 at 10:30am at St. Francis D’ Assisi Catholic Church, 4500 Wesson St. Detroit, MI until time of Funeral Mass at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated in memory of the many happy times Mary enjoyed at Pvt John Lyskawa VFW Post #7546 (Dearborn Heights) and St. Francis D’ Assisi Church (Detroit). My heartfelt sympathy to the Lyskawa family. When my son Tom married Mary's daughter Dianne I came to know the Lyskawas as such a loving family. I always enjoyed the family celebrations I was made a part of. Mary/Busia I will miss you.
