Mary Ellen was the beloved mother of Angela Mills. She was a proud grandma to Zachary (Briana) Mills, Alexander Mills, Margaret (Joshua Gamble) Mills, Madison Markwardt, and Matthew Markwardt Jr., and a loving great-grandma to Elliana, Isabella, Lucy, and Archer. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Sandy Davis.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 60 years, Gary Richard Markwardt, her son, Matthew Markwardt, her parents, George and Jeanette Davis, and her siblings, George (Christine) Davis, Lynn (Emmy) Davis, Carole Davis, Colleen (Jim) LaPrad, and John Davis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America in Mary Ellen's memory.
