Mary Kae Thursam

Mary Kae loved to entertain friends and family with many pool parties each summer. She was an avid reader, a book was never far from her side.

She loved to travel and cruise. For over 35 years, two weeks in June were spent at Marina Village with her Fort Myers Family, something she always looked forward to. Additionally, she spent March with good friends at Kahlua Beach Club.

Mary Kae spent her career with Kmart Corporation for over 40 years. With many a year working in Risk Management. She was known as the party planner and never disappointed her colleagues in the Legal Department.

For over 50 years, Mary Kae was a devoted wife to Edward. Her greatest pride was being a mother to Nancy. Mary Kae was a dear sister of Helen (the late Bill) Moore, Michael (Renee), Tom (Donna) and the late James (Karen). She was a loving sister-in-law of Marilyn (Robert), Gary (Judy), Larry (Diane), Bobby (Susan), Nicole (Mike) and the late Ronald. And a generous aunt to all her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
