Maurice Clair Minielly

In 1950 at the Littlefield Presbyterian Church in Dearborn, Michigan Clair married the love of his life Barbara. He supported his family by working at the Michigan Truck Plant in Wayne, Michigan before retiring almost 25 years ago. Clair was an avid sports fan, watching and following every sport, but his main passion in life was his family. A kind, loving and doting father and grandfather, he was a remarkable family man.

Clair was the loving husband of Barbara for 65 years. Cherished father of the late Linda (Bob) Williams, Ken (Sandy) Minielly, Debbie (Mike) Broome and Bob (Mary Beth) Minielly. Proud grandfather of Brian Williams, Jennifer Williams, Katie (Mike) Taylor, Amy Broome, Ashley Minielly, Kenny Minielly, Matt (Chrissy) Broome, Daniel (Leah) Williams, Kristy Minielly, Robbie Minielly, Hailey Broome and Nick Broome and great-grandfather of 5. Dear brother of the late Tom Minielly, the late Gordon Minielly and Betty Reynolds.

Mr. Minielly's life will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Thursday August 27, 2015 at 1:30 pm, with a viewing beginning at 12 noon, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. He will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
