She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Waldon Korvun, sharing 62 wonderful years of marriage. Maxine was a devoted mother to the late Kenneth Dale (Elisabeth) Korvun, Sidney (Irene) Korvun, and Michael Korvun. She was a cherished grandmother to Randy, Kristopher (Amanda), and Joseph, and a proud great-grandmother to Maxwell and Emma.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Polly Britton, as well as her 12 siblings. She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family and community.
For over 25 years, Maxine served as a hospice volunteer in Florida, offering comfort and support to those in need. She was also a former parishioner of Hosanna-Tabor Lutheran Church in Redford, Michigan, where she was an active member of the community.
A visitation will take place on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Homes, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the same location. Maxine will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Maxine’s memory.
