Melinda Lee Schindler

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Albin Schindler, and her grandchild, David Collier.

Melinda is survived by her children: Lisa (Mark), Dan (Sally), and Maria (Jamie). She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew, Samantha, Hannah, Zechariah, Rebekah, and Mindy, and her great-granddaughter, Jubilee. She is further survived by her siblings Scott (Kathleen), Mark, and Heather (John), as well as extended family and friends.

Melinda was a member of St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia and Church of the Holy Spirit in Highland where she participated in many church activities.

She enjoyed gardening and spent time caring for her vegetable and flower gardens, which were often admired by those who visited.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4:00-5:00PM for family and open to the public from 5:00-8:00PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00AM, with in-state visitation beginning at 9:30AM, at St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth.
