Michael Keith Fahling
July 11, 1962 – May 31, 2019
age 56, of Farmington Hills, formerly of Fenton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 31, 2019. Mike was born July 11, 1962 in Ann Arbor, the son of Waldo and Betty (Buerkel) Fahling. He was a 1980 graduate of Fenton High School and also received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Flint and a Master's of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. He worked in IT supporting various industries throughout the years. Having received the mark of Christ in baptism, Mike loved Jesus and was a servant for the Lord. He supported friends and others in many ways including volunteer work, mission trips, and organizations such as Celebrate Recovery. His most cherished role was that of father to his two daughters. His family will miss his loving spirit and unique sense of humor.
Surviving are his daughters Elizabeth and Julia Fahling and their mother Connie Fahling of Farmington Hills; his parents Waldo and Betty Fahling of Kokomo, IN; his brother Jeff Fahling of Indianapolis; his sister Brenda and her husband Jerry Beemer and their children Corinne, Justin, Megan Beemer of Fenton; and his girlfriend Janice Nydahl of Roseville and her daughters Emily and Erika Nydahl.
The family will receive friends from 3-8pm Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia. A Funeral service will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11am at Ward Church, 40000 Six Mile Rd., Northville, MI 48168. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10am.
Those desiring may make contributions to Ward Church in Northville where Mike was a longtime member.

Thank you Diane and Karen for your sharing. Karen I believe I remember Mike attending your brother's funeral. I think he said you live not too far from him and he wanted us to have dinner with you and your husband. It was always important to Mike to pay final respects and be a comfort to families and friends during their time of need.

I am so very sad to hear of your loss. Michael came to my brothers' memorial. It was so nice to see him and we talked for a long time. He was a wonderful and thoughtful person.

I remember Mike's love for the Lord. I often saw a twinkle in his eye and the joy of being in class on a Sunday morning. I love that he cared so much about having his girls go to Christian School. It was a priceless decision that I highly respected. He is with our Jesus now.
