Dear Ken and Mary and Family, I am so heartbroken to hear of the loss of your son Michael. Even though its been many years, I remember Michael as a cute little blondie with a sweet shy smile. I can tell from what others have said that you raised a fine young man. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very very sorry for your pain.

So sorry to hear of this tragic loss of such a wonderful young man. He was so very kind and helpful to all the youth hockey players (and their parents) at LHA. Our hearts ache for his family and we wish you comfort and peace in his memory.

So saddened by this news. My heart aches for the entire family. Prayers that God keeps you all strong forever. You truly have a special angel to watch over each and every one of you. He played a special part in our hockey family almost every Sunday for the Morc Stars special hockey team. Thank you for sharing your son with us. He is truly going to be missed.

A Few Words For A Friend

February 16, 2014

Over the course of the last few days I've heard Mike's smile mentioned a million times, but it could be mentioned a million more times and it still wouldn't be enough. His journey was short, but the impact he left on everyone he knew is forever. Living in such a judgmental world, it's easy for most of us to think of someone and associate a flaw with that person. I can't think of one for Mike. You could have been the kid eating your lunch in the bathroom or the most popular football player on the team -- Mike treated everyone exactly the same. Rest in peace Michael, you will never be forgotten, and thank you for being you.

Dear Hoots family,

I am just at a loss for words. I worked with Mike briefly at McDonalds way back when. He was such a nice guy. I am just so sorry for your loss. Another kind and good person is ripped away from this earth too soon. May God rest his soul.

Dear Hoots Family,
Our hearts grieve with yours at this heartbreaking time. Please know Mike and you all will remain in our prayers.
