Monica T. Gilroy, age 85 of Livonia, Michigan, passed away June 23, 2016. She was born on April 14, 1931 to Clayton and Eva Fleck of Detroit, Michigan. Monica married the late Edward Gilroy in 1954. Monica is the loving mother of Cynthia (Matthew) Ricketts, Craig (Eve) Gilroy and the late Diane Gilroy. She is the dear grandmother of Kate (Michael) Ricketts-Baird, Diane Ricketts, Chrissy (Michael) Voso, Steven Ricketts, and Gina Gilroy. Monica will be missed by many family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday June 26, 2016, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm at, Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road Livonia, Michigan 48152. Monica will lie in-state Monday June 27, 2016, beginning at 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 10:30 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 11441 Hubbard Livonia, Michigan 48150.
