I wrote this poem for my Grampa and he gave me the strength to read this to him at the funeral!
*Gone But Never Forgotten*
On the day you passed away
A painful feeling came to stay
There was no time to say goodbye
Now I can not help but cry
I prayed and prayed for you not to go
For now I'm left missing you so
You gave us all of your undying love
The most perfect angel for above
I will always remember the advice you gave
Our memory that has been paved
I wish we had more time together
More little talks about the weather
More Monday visits with the boys
The moments we shared were much enjoyed
And now you're in Heaven, forever free
You're truly loved and you'll always be
Grampa, I do promise this
Your love and wisdom I will never forget
Love Always,
Snickerfritz

Rosie, Gwen and Chris, Norm was a great person and will miss him very much. He was like a father figure for me since my Dad past away many years ago. When we got a call from Chris yesterday could not believe that he past away since just saw him this last Saturday at Sue/Ron's wedding. All our love and prayers - Mark, Eleanor (Norm's sister) and Julie.

Dear Gwen, Chris and Aunt Rose, May find comfort in the dear Lord. He truly has an angel on his side now. What a wonderful, kind, patient man your father and husband was. He will truly be missed by all that encountered him. We have wonderful memories of him and hold them close to our hearts. Sunday evening Tony wanted me to play Pictionary with him, boy did that bring back some wonderful memories. Love to you all, God bless and keep you Charlene, Gerry, Joe and Tony XOXOX

Gwen and Chris, the power of pictures. I had to laugh out loud. I remember your Dad and all the other tall men standing in our backyard in Pinckney. Your Dad always had that pipe and lots of laughter. How could we not miss those times.

Gwen and Chris, your Mom and Dad were the sister and brother I never had and loved them wholeheartedly. I will always miss them and Norm's teasing, which I really loved. Uncle Marv and Norm were the best of friends, aside from cousins. Love you both and wish I could be with you now. Aunt Ruth
