Norman R. Watson

He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie. Dear father of Susan M. Creeth and David N. (Suzanne) Watson. Grandfather of Bradley and Mallory Watson. Brother of James T. (Jane) Watson and Irene (the late Keith) Miller.

Norman was the past president of Michigan Insurance Executives Asn. (1961); Retired V.P. of Mason-McBride, Inc.; past President of USS WASP CV-7 Stinger Club and survivor of the sinking of the Aircraft Carrier USS WASP CV-7 in the Battle of Guadal Canal 9/15/42. Many retirement years proudly spent as Editor of the USS WASP CV-7 Magazine; member of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church.

Funeral arrangements by Harry J. Will Funeral Home and inurnment at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.

There will be no memorial service per Norman’s request.
