Paul Micheal Kersanty

Paul proudly served in the United States Navy for two years during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he attended the police academy in 1973 and began a career in law enforcement. He served as a police officer until his retirement in 2000.

Paul met the love of his life, Michele, when they were in high school. They were married on May 21, 1972, and shared more than 53 years together. Michele passed away on June 9, 2025, and Paul missed her dearly.

In his free time, Paul loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and was happiest when everyone was together.

Paul is survived by his children, Micheal Kersanty, Brian (Lara) Kersanty, and Erin (Kevin) Covert; his grandchildren, Ava, Valerie, and Phallon; and his siblings, Gordy, Jeff, Randy, and Debbie.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Michele Kersanty, and his parents.

Paul will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of service to his country and community, and his love of the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
