He is survived by his wife of 65 years JoAnne (LaPrairie). Two sisters Doris and Gertrude. Sons James (Beverly), Lawrence (Amy), Daniel, David (Sandra), Andrew (Michelle). Grandchildren Anthony, Janet (Adam), Lindsey (Paul), Chad, Alyssa, Jordan, Janelle, Marissa, and Michael. Great Grandchildren Parker, Lila, Ryder, and Harper. With numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 2PM to 8PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Funeral mass Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10AM (in state 9AM) at St. Colette Catholic Church in Livonia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Angela Hospice or Diabetes Association in Richard's memory.
