Rick was a loving Uncle to me and my siblings.  We had so many great times fishing and playing cards. He will be deeply missed. I am so thankful for the time we were able to spend together. 

Rick... it is heartbreaking to know you are gone far too soon.  When we started working together at Beaumont Health in 1992, you were a great mentor and leader and I’m so glad we remained friends.  Whenever we talked, conversations were filled with all that you loved.... Joyce, your kids, your love of nature and travel, work life, and most recently your new  dog Molly.  You will be greatly missed!

I had the pleasure to work with Rick on the Cardiovascular Clinical Council over the past 3 years.  He was extremely knowledgeable, very organized and a great team player.  I am so saddened that he left us at such a young age and will definitely miss him.

I am so heartbroken over the sudden loss of my Uncle Rick. My favorite memories of him were at my grandparents lake house. We all loved to swim, fish, get ice cream, and go out on the boat and jet ski. So many wonderful family moments and great memories.  He will be missed by so many. I love you Uncle Rick

Rick and I spent many New Years Days together, watching our beloved Wolverines in a bowl game.  Many times a frustrating experience but we shared the agony or joy together.  

Back in our college days, Rick took me walleye fishing at his dad’s fishing camp in Canada.  Awesome times and a lot of fun catching fish that size.

We’ve been best of friends for 41 years,  I miss him tremendously already.

I’m deeply saddened over the loss of my Uncle Rick. It was evident how much he treasured and loved his family. He thought the world of Joyce, Paul and Cathryn and he will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers go out to all.

I’m so thankful for this photograph because it’s a wonderful memory of a very special night in Michigan. Though we moved down south many years ago, the entire Yandric family remained close to our hearts and always in our prayers.  I look back on the times we spent together and  remember them fondly. Thank you for being a shining example of a dedicated and loving husband and father. I hope to follow in your legacy. Tonight I raise a glass to you. Love Kevin 

I am very saddened to lose such a co-worker like Rick.  He is gone too soon.  He was a complete gentleman who always was so thankful to me for the support I provided, yet he provided so much help to me and everyone around him.   Thank you Rick for impacting such a positive role at work.  Praying for his family in this difficult time.

Rick will be greatly missed by all of us at Henry Ford Health System. I had the pleasure of working with him and getting to know him better over the past few years. Rick was knowledgeable, honest and fair. He consistently worked hard to present the data and work with the Nursing Executives to reflect accurate information for each nursing unit within the system. This is a huge job which he did joyfully!
Rick was a man who loved his family and friends. I am honored that we were able to care for him during his last days at Henry Ford Hospital. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rick was our point person for hospital benchmarking at Henry Ford.  Rick was one of the sharpest people I ever met. He knew our platform better than anyone and had an exceptional ability to triangulate complex data and boil it down so it was understood by all.  He was an advocate for his employer and the patients they served. He was passionate in his work, highly organized and in his quiet way, garnered the respect and support from everyone he touched. He will be sorely missed.  Sympathies to his family and his colleagues.  Such as loss.

I've only known Ric for a short 3 years, but the memories will last forever.  He and his wife, Joyce, opened their hearts to me when I joined their bowling team a few seasons ago.  It was not easy to join a group of strangers, but they were so kind to treat me like I belonged every week.  I'll always remember the coaching Ric gave me consistently each bowling night. Our conversations we had about sports, family and life in general.  He was a real sweetheart and a gem of a man.  Thank you Ric.  I will miss you.

I have so many memories of all the phone conversations we had. We talked mostly about the love we had about dogs. All the hunting tails and how he was going to get that trophy deer and I would get the venison. My last conversation with him was December 28th when he called me standing in front of his house while it was on fire. He was so worried that I was going to be disappointed that they weren’t going to make it to my birthday party that evening. He thought of me when he was going through a horrible thing, watching his house burn. I will miss our talks. You will always be in my heart ❤️
