Rimon Aziz Kassis

Beloved husband of the late Rola Kassis. Loving father of Sonya Kassis, Grace (Omar) Qaqish, Aziz Kassis, Christina (Romeo) Tilo, Robin Kassis and Majed Kassis. Cherished grandfather of Elias and Lucas Qaqish, and Elliana Tilo. Dearest brother of Rima (late George) Ziadeh, Randa Kassis, Ilham (Fayez) Abdelnour, the late Marwan (Aida) Kassis, and the late Yacoub (Nadia) Kassis and uncle and great-uncle to multiple nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Rimon was a respected and beloved member of the local Ramallah community and faithful member of the Basilica of St. Mary. He retired several years ago from the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Detroit, but he kept very busy as he spent his days working on the Hathihe Ramallah magazine as its Arabic editor, and serving the community as a Notary Public. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching Arabic movies and drinking tea. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who loved and cherished their "Sido Mon." He will be missed and fondly remembered by many, many people.

Visitation for Rimon will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 5pm-8pm, with a Trisagion Prayer Service to begin at 7:30 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Livonia. The Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11am (In state 10am) at the Basilica of St. Mary, Livonia.
