

Robbie joined Greater King Solomon Baptist Church and was baptized by Rev. R. L. Bradley at the age of seven years old. She loved God, serving him in deeds of service anyway she could. She later joined The Russell Street Baptist Church in 1981 and sang in the women's choir and The Inspirational Choir for many years.
Robbie graduated from Eastern High School in Detroit, MI, attended U of M and obtained her degree in Business. Soon after, she began to increase her talent as a MasterChef, Garmache chef and owned a Catering Business.
Robbie was united in holy matrimony with Clarence Fennell “pops”, which he referred to her as “Sweets .She was a devoted mother of four children Robert, Janet, Timothy & Mark.
Robbie retired for the (D.A.C.) Detroit Athletic Club as Head Chef. She was also a Singer, and President of the Sharing & Caring Block Club of her district. She attended family gatherings where she would reiterate the importance of family history. She will always be remembered as a devoted praying woman of God who was dedicated to family, friends and those in need. Her legacy will live eternally that exemplify true love, family, determination and sacrifice. Her memories will always fulfill our hearts.
Mrs. Robbie Lee Fennell departed this life peacefully Monday April 10, 2017. Her husband Clarence Fennell, parents Iola Collins, father Robert Lewis, eldest sister Earlene Dunwoody, Youngest sister Iola Williams and Eldest son Robert L. Lewis preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her children: Janet & Timothy Hill, Mark Fennell and Goddaughter Minister Leenovia Robinson, seven grandchildren: Shalonda, LaToya, Darneshia and Adam Hill, Tiffany Woolley, Robert Lewis Jr. and Kashif Bellamy. Seven Great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish her memories.
