Robert Charles Dickson

Robert Charles Dickson was born September 3, 1931 and passed away on February 8, 2022 at age 90. Beloved husband of Brigid Dickson. Loving father of Johanna Breece, Mary O’Dowd (Thomas), Norman (Kathleen), John (Andrea) and the late Anthony Dickson. Cherished grandfather of Anne and Elizabeth Breece, Dennis, Brigid and Robert O'Dowd, Jack and Kate Dickson, Griffin, Abigail, Charles and Annabel Dickson. Dear brother of Dorothy McDowell and the late Mary Lou Marker and Father Norman Dickson S.J. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a proud Navy Veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a longtime Detroiter and retired from Ford Motor Company after a long career in heavy truck sales. He enjoyed traveling, boating and most of all, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 14th, 2022 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan.

Funeral In State will be held at 9:00 am and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 am on February 15, 2022 at St Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Michigan.

Bob will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
