Robert E. Kegler was born April 27, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harold and Alice Kegler. He passed peacefully March 5, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Lorraine for 67 years. Loving father of Peggy (Tom) Lewis and Douglas (Sandra) Kegler. Cherished grandfather of Cassandra (Daniel) Voeller and Kimberly (Jeff) Redmond. Great-grandfather of Dominic and Emma Voeller and Connor and Alexandria Redmond. Robert was predeceased by his brother Harold Kegler Jr. A proud veteran of the US Navy, Robert served on the USS Antietam during WWII.
Visitation Friday, March 11 from 11am-1pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. A Funeral Service will held at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
