

Robert Paul Kluba, fondly known as “Bob,” passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 88, in Livonia, Michigan. Bob was born on January 15, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, to Andrew and Magdelena (Nawrot) Kluba, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his six siblings: Frank, Jean, Josephine, Helen, Walter, and Alex.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Dolores (Dolly) with whom he shared a loving marriage of 64 years. He was a cherished father to his three children: Kim (Phillip) Haddad, Brian (Theresa) Kluba, and Denise (Rick) Brown. His legacy lives on through his six grandchildren and their spouses: Ryan Haddad, Amanda (Robert) Schneider, Lauren (Zac) Kluba, Brandon (Kelli) Kluba, Natalie Sorensen, and Shannon (Robert) Moore, as well as his nine great-grandchildren: Andrew, Claire, Ivy, Harper, Declan, Isabella, Madison, Alison, and Noah.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed playing golf, traveling, spending time with his family, and trying his luck at casinos. His love of travel took him to many cherished places, including Las Vegas, Hawaii, Aruba and Florida. A man with a great sense of humor, Bob’s presence was always a source of laughter and lightheartedness. He was well-liked by those who knew him for his gentle nature, sense of humor, and ability to connect with people of all ages. His faith was an integral part of his life, and it was reflected in his everyday actions toward others.
Bob was an incredibly generous man, and those who knew him best often remarked on his kind-hearted nature and selflessness. His generosity toward his children, grandchildren, and even strangers was remarkable. His wife, Dolores, frequently commented on how Bob never complained and had the best attitude she had ever known, no matter the circumstances. He was a dedicated father, and his children often spoke of the true blessing it was to have him as their dad and as a true example to others.
In 1978, Bob took a leap into entrepreneurship and opened his own tool and die business, Euclid Machine and Manufacturing, which he owned and operated alongside his family with pride until his well-earned retirement in 2010. He was a hard-working, honest businessman who formed many friendships along the way.
At the end of his life, Bob was deeply thankful for the love and support of his family, friends, and the compassionate care provided by excellent healthcare professionals, including Dr. Ross Summers, the staff at St. Mary’s, and St. Joe’s Hospitals, Fresenius Kidney Care, and Angela Hospice Care Facility. His unwavering gratitude, along with the love he shared with those around him, and his sharp wit and sense of humor, will forever be remembered.
Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family and friends were truly blessed to have him in their lives, and he will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation for Bob will take place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the same location. Immediately following the service, ( 5:00pm ) a Celebration of Life Dinner will be held at The Italian American Club, 39200 5 Mile Rd, Livonia, MI
