He is survived by His Bride of 62 years, Peg; children, Bob (Ginger) and Tim (Kristen); grandchildren, Delaney, Samantha, Collin, Conner and Noah; brother, Gary (Leslie), and their children, Heather and Erica; niece, Lisa; and precious dog, Lucy. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in passing by his brother, Dennis; sister, Carolyn; brother-in-law, Eddie; and sister-in-law, Carol.
Bob was born and raised on the east side of Detroit. He belonged to Sheet Metal Local 80 in heating and cooling and eventually started a business with his brother, Dennis. Following this, he worked at General Motors as a tinsmith, retiring after 27 years of service.
Bob enjoyed golfing and bowling, even rolling a 300 game. He was a longtime member of the Eagles, Elks, Moose, and VFW. He could always be found with a Miller Lite or a glass of Bénédictine. He and Peg relished traveling, visiting places such as the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, Florida, Alaska, and their cottage up north in Higgins Lake. Most importantly, he valued time with his grandchildren and loved them more than anything.
