Rose Fisher, beloved by many and a woman of deep faith, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, at the age of 94, in Livonia, Michigan. She was born on June 13, 1931, in Windsor, Ontario, to John and Ann (née Doolan) O’Reilly.
Rose was the devoted wife of the late Clifton H. Fisher Jr. She and Cliff met through the Deaf Club in Detroit and were married in 1957. Together they shared many wonderful years of love, faith, and family until his passing on January 29, 2015.
A woman of profound faith and service, Rose was one of the founding parishioners of Our Lady of Loretto West Detroit Catholic Deaf church in Redford, where she faithfully attended Mass for more than forty years. She spent countless hours volunteering and serving her parish and community.
Rose was a proud homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her home and raising her four children. She found great joy in simple pleasures—baking pies and zucchini bread, knitting and crocheting, as well as playing euchre and card games. Camping trips with her family and friends created many cherished memories that will be treasured for generations.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Linda (Danny) Lange, John (Patte) Fisher, Betty (Dave) Beauchamp, and Sandra (Dino) Benson; her grandchildren: Gregory, Christopher, Stephanie, Patrick, Jessica, Michael, Sean, Nicholas, Christianna, Kailyn, and Katarina; and her great-grandchildren: Kinley, Braxtyn, Milly, Cameron, Alina, Ella, Luka, Rory, Sophia, Marlowe, Malcolm, Sawyer, Graham, Vaughn, Joseph, Andrew, and Rose.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann O’Reilly; her beloved husband, Clifton; and her siblings: Sister Ann Beatrice, Jack Burgess, Nancy Burgess Madge, Gerard O’Reilly, Frank O’Reilly, and Alice O’Reilly Strong.
Rose will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous spirit, quiet strength, and the love she poured into her family, her church, and all who were blessed to know her.
Rose’s family will receive visitors on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.
