Roy was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 111 in Wayne, and Proudly served his Country in the 101st Aiborne Division during The Korean Conflict. He was the loving Husband of Mary Lou. Dear Father of Connie Jensen (Michael), Curtis Walker (Tweet), Valerie Taylor, John Carter(Cindy), and Robin Ouillette (Bob). Loving Grandfather of 13 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday December 30 from 3 until 9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Ave (east of Wayne Rd) in Wayne. His life will be celebrated with a funeral services on Wednesday December 31 at 10 AM at the funeral home. An entombment will Immediately follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
