Rudy Restum

A proud Navy and Marine Corp veteran, Rudy was discharged in October 1954 after nearly 4 years of honorable service to his country. Following his discharge he began working as a Fireman with the Detroit Fire Department. In his later years he became a Real Estate Broker in the Livonia area.

A devote Christian Rudy's faith was very important to him. He has been a member of Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Northville for over 45 years, and even previously served as head usher. Rudy was also an avid golfer, but his main love and passion was his family.

Rudy was a loving husband of Marion for 61 years. Beloved father of John (Annette), Ronald (Amy) and James. Proud grandfather of Carolyn, Daniel (Laura), Erica, David, Laura, Amy and James (Ashleigh) and great-grandfather of John, Nicole, Jacob, Christian, Jimmy and Luke. He is also survived by dear sister Bonnie (Ray) Cisilino.

The Restum family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday April 5, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at 11 am, with in state 10 am, at the Chapel at Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 40000 Six Mile Rd. (west of Haggerty Rd) in Northville. The Chapel is located on the northwest corner of the property.
