Ruth Elizabeth Wuerth

Ruth was married to Clarence Wuerth (deceased) for 69 years, is survived by son John (Judy) Wuerth; daughter Diane (Keith) Wilson, Daughter Darlene (Jeff) Ebersole; and son Steven (Anne) Wuerth, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Ruth attended Redford High School in Detroit. She worked most of her adult life for Omni Spectra until she retired and started her own business teaching ceramics. She and Clarence were true snowbirds, wintering at their home in Holiday, Florida and the rest of their time at their Plymouth condo. They loved and nurtured their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Their home was a loving haven for elderly parents, a displaced niece and nephew and even a wounded serviceman through the years. She was a faithful member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, Livonia.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral in state will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14175 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48154.
