Samuel J. Mark, 86, died December 12, 2019. Beloved husband of Erlinda for 52 years. Dear father of Ronald Mark and Deborah (Eric) Stauffer. Brother of Miriam Hom, Emma (George) Yee and Margaret (Richard) Martin. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Samuel was predeceased by his parents and his sisters Ann Mark and Mary (Paul) McHugh. Samuel was born in Trenton, NJ, was an United States Air Force veteran, graduated from Wayne State University, and worked for the Department of Social Services for the State of Michigan. Samuel enjoyed watching sporting events, especially all Michigan and Detroit sports teams, attending both the 1968 and 1984 World Series games, although his favorite baseball team was the St. Louis Cardinals. Samuel was also a Detroit Lions season ticket holder. Samuel was a gentle man who will be greatly missed by his family.
