Sharon Susan Keith

Beloved wife of Rashid “Rico” Eadeh and the late Howard Keith. Loving mother of Scott (Staci) Keith and Colleen (Greg) Durham. Cherished grandmother of Maya, Sophia and Brady, who were the light of her world. Dear stepmother of Hannah. Beloved daughter of the late Marietta and James Maynard.

Sharon was the dear sister of Bob (Jorayne), Don (Gloria), and Cindy (Kevin). She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Gloria and brother-in-law Mike. Sharon leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Sharon Keith was born on February 22, 1949, in Northville, Michigan, and grew up in Dearborn, where she graduated from Lowry High School. It was during high school that Sharon met her beloved first husband, Howard Keith. The two attended the same church and were together in drivers education class—where their love story began.

Throughout her life, Sharon was blessed with friendships that became family. Her best friend Shelly was by her side as her maid of honor, while Linda was her cherished bowling and casino buddy. Sharon shared an especially close bond with her siblings Bob, Don, and Cindy. They were more than brothers and a sister—they were her best friends through all of life’s good times and challenges.

Sharon and Howard married in 1968 and began their life together in a small flat in Melvindale. Some of their earliest adventures included racing their beloved 442 Oldsmobile at Detroit Speedway. In 1970, they welcomed their son, Scott, who quickly became Howard’s “twin.” Five years later, in 1975, their daughter Colleen was born, who became Sharon’s “twin.”

The family eventually moved to Dearborn Heights before making countless wonderful memories in Livonia. Sharon loved bringing people together and was known for hosting holidays, parties, and gatherings where family and friends could always count on having a good time.

Sharon enjoyed a life filled with adventure. She loved bowling and golfing and was especially proud of her three hole-in-ones. She and Howard also enjoyed riding their Harleys with their biker friends, creating memories and friendships along the way.

After retiring from Ford Credit, where she worked in administration, Sharon and Howard moved to Apopka, Florida, to enjoy retirement. There, they made beautiful memories with their neighborhood cul-de-sac friends, and Sharon developed a special bond with Linda and Gary. In 2010, Sharon decided to return to work at SeaWorld, continuing her love of staying active and enjoying life.

When Howard passed away, Sharon missed him terribly. Years later, life brought a new love into her heart when she reconnected with Rashid “Rico” Eadeh. The two married in 2017, and Sharon gained a beautiful new stepdaughter, Hannah, whom she loved dearly.

Sharon and Rico enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, and cruising to exotic destinations. They lived as snowbirds, spending time in Leesburg, Florida, and Hale, Michigan. Sharon loved visiting with neighbors, spending time with her friends at the Eagles, and gathering family and friends at their lake house. Of course, no summer day was complete without a boat ride.

Above all, Sharon will be remembered for her kind heart and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. But perhaps she will be missed most for her incredible sense of humor. Sharon had a wonderfully goofy personality and a gift for making people laugh. She could bring joy into a room simply by being herself.

Her greatest joy, however, was her grandchildren—Maya, Sophia, and Brady. Her world revolved around them, and they will forever treasure memories of ice cream trips, her special French toast, and all of the silly jokes and laughter they shared. Sharon loved them “to the moon and back again,” and that love will remain with them always.

Sharon leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, friendship, family, and unforgettable memories. Though she will be deeply missed, the joy she brought to so many lives will continue to live on in everyone who knew and loved her.

A Committal Service and Sharing of Memories will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Cemetery, 35667 W. 8 Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152.

The family invites everyone joining them to celebrate Sharon’s life to dress casually, wearing golf attire or the color blue in her memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sharon’s honor may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research or Angela Hospice using the links provided on her memorial website.
