

Shirley dedicated 25 years of her professional life to Ford Motor Company, where she worked as a secretary. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and the genuine connections she formed with those around her.
A longtime member of Ward Church in Northville, Shirley's faith was an important part of her life and provided her with a lasting sense of community and purpose.
Above all else, Shirley treasured her family. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and took pride in watching them grow. Her love, encouragement, and steady presence will be remembered by those who knew her best.
Shirley is survived by her loving daughters, Jill (J.) Bowers and Marla (John) Cencer; her beloved grandchildren, Evan Bowers, Leah Cencer, and Laura Cencer; her nephew, Bruce (Kitty) Wrenbeck; her nephew, Thomas (Dianne) Wrenbeck; and her niece, Valerie (Frank) Schulte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet (Beslack) Craib; her husband, Robert Tenney; and her sister, Jean Wrenbeck.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth, devotion to family, and enduring friendships leave a legacy that will be cherished for generations to come.
In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, she will be laid on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia. Shirley’s family has arranged a memorial luncheon at 12 pm for Shirley’s friends and family after a private viewing and burial. Please contact family for further luncheon details.
