Stella Mae Kipp

Stella shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Ernest Kipp. The two met on a blind date arranged by friends, and what began as a simple introduction blossomed into a lifetime of love and companionship. They were married on October 17, 1964, and built a beautiful life together, creating countless cherished memories along the way.

Stella worked in quality control and photography production at Focal Point Studios for many years before retiring in 2010. Outside of work, her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and treasured every opportunity to spend time with.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures of everyday life, whether playing games on her phone, shopping on Amazon, or relaxing in her favorite chair while watching the birds gather at the birdfeeder. Stella and Ernest also shared many wonderful adventures over the years, making fond memories on their cruises together and enjoying their winters as snowbirds in Florida.

In addition to her husband, Ernest, Stella leaves behind her loving son, Eric (Heather) Kipp and son in-law Leonard Stachowski; grandchildren, Mariah (Kevin), Ryan (Alexandria), Alayna, Zachary, and Nicholas; great-granddaughter, Madison; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eunice Hamacher; her beloved daughter, Debra Stachowski; her brother, James (Margaret) Hamacher; and her nephew, Adam.

Stella will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her love for her family, the memories she created, and the little things that brought her happiness will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Stella’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 12:00 pm. In accordance with Stella’s wishes, cremation will follow.
