

Stephanie Ann Canney of Westland, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 13, 2026, at the age of 63, after bravely battling an aggressive kidney disease over the past year. She was born on August 7, 1962, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to Wanda and Frank Alexander.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Michael; her three cherished children, Mandie Powell (Kyle Tabor), Christopher Canney, and Cheyenne Rogale (Ryan); and her precious granddaughters, Kylie Tabor and Nova Rogale. She is also survived by her brother, Tim Alexander, and her sisters-in-law, Cindi Canney (Paul Nienhaus) and Sheryl Nienhaus (Rob/Bob). Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Donald and Patricia Canney.
Stephanie was employed by a major supermarket for 26 years, faithfully providing essential services through the COVID-19 pandemic. She was happiest at home, spending time with her family, watching HGTV and Blue Bloods, and enjoying Pepsi. A lifelong and devoted Wolverines fan, she greatly enjoyed watching every University of Michigan football game with her husband, Michael.
Visitation will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia on Tuesday, April 21st from 4PM to 8PM with Prayers and Family Sharing at 7PM. A private burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will take place the following day. In honor of Stephanie, the family kindly requests that visitors wear a shade of purple, if possible.
