Hi Terry,

I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was such an amazing man that I looked up to. He loved God and serving everyone he could in His name. I am blessed to have known him and will always remember him. I am sorry that I was not able to visit you Wednesday. I was on the way to the funeral home and ran into a situation that prevented me from getting there. You are in my thoughts and prayers today and always. I am looking forward to seeing him again someday.

Peace be with you!

When I think of Steve, a smile comes to me..that now 'infamous' dance party on your back deck, which went into the wee hours of the morning! May he still be listening to Motown/Polkas and on that big dance floor in the sky!
Dear Terry, I am so sorry to here about Steve. You indeed had 45 good years with him. I've know you since 1st grade(good old St. Francis) and I know you are a strong will get through this heart-breaking time. I will see you on my next visit to Michigan..until then, my thoughts are with you.

Niech spoczywa w pokoju (May he rest in peace)

This poem has gotten me through many hard times. I hope you get some solace from it too.

I cannot say, and I will not say
That he is dead. He is just away.
With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand,
He has wandered into an unknown land.

And left us dreaming how very fair
It’s needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you—oh you, who the wildest yearn
For an old-time step, and the glad return.

Think of him faring on, as dear
In the love of There as the love of Here.
Think of him still as the same. I say,
He is not dead—he is just away.”
