Early childhood and upbringing:
Born at home – 1361 Lenox – Already had 6 siblings – eventually had 10 siblings altogether – we were all dedicated to one another and were very close – attended St. Philip Neri School from grade 1 to 12.
Adolescent years:
These were fun years – Did many things with my friends – could not date till I was 16 – The highlight was going to my Junior Prom with the President of my class – I entered the convent at the end of my junior year – was a nun for six years.
Early adulthood:
Returning home from the convent, I got a job at Mich. Bell Telephone Company – my brother introduced me to Tom Davis – Tom + I were married – had 3 boys – I was a stay-at-home mom.
My proudest family moments:
The birth of my younger siblings – my sister graduating from nursing school – the days my siblings graduated – proud of my Dad – he was a lieutenant in the Det. Fire Dept. – proud of my Mom – she was the best cook, sewer, housekeeper in the whole world – had the best Mom + Dad in the world!
My proudest career accomplishments:
The raising of my three sons – wasn’t an easy job – they weren’t angels – but they turned out great – they made me proud.
