Proud father of Jacob and Joshua Lee. Dear brother of Laura Lee, Lawrence Lee, Lisa (late Ron) Moses and Colleen (Jeff) Kasson. Dearest uncle of Dylan Kasson and Tyler (Taylor) Lee. He is also survived by many close family and friends.
Thomas G. Lee or better known to most as "Tommy Lee" fought a long and courageous fight, against a rare form of cancer, until he departed from his journey on his 60th birthday with his family by his side. Tom had such a passion for life and for the people around him, he devoted his life to helping others, no one was a stranger for long, that's just the type of person he was. Was married for 22 years, he raised a beautiful family and was so extremely proud of his two boys Jacob and Joshua. He loved coaching his sons in baseball, joining the boys at Boy Scout campouts and being involved in any activities they did. One of his favorite trips, that he shared with his family, was the boy's travel baseball team adventures to Cooperstown, New York. Tom was known for his delicious banana pudding, a secret family recipe. He loved to tell jokes, stories and was even known to wear a loud suit or two. Every June, the Lee family reunion would take place in Kentucky where he enjoyed many laughs and catching up with his cousins and extended family. Family was a big part of his life.
Tom was an avid "treasure" collector and loved classic cars and old bicycles. He was an entrepreneur at heart, starting and running his own successful electrical machine tool panel company for years. Tom couldn't sit still for long, so he poured himself into an 1853 old historic tavern which he lovingly restored. The Brick Walker Tavern is now a wedding destination and will be enjoyed for generations to come because of his vision. Tom had great faith as a devout Catholic and was very active in his parish.
Tom enjoyed being involved in various service opportunities. Sir Knight Tom Lee, was the past Grand Knight of Daniel A. Lord Council 3959, and an active member of Pope John 23rd Assembly, a Fourth Degree Knight, and voted Knight of the Year. Tom was also very passionate about his service through St. Vincent De Paul, St. Michael's Parish chapter and a volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 271.
