He graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in 1958. He worked as both an airframe and powertrain mechanic and an experimental mechanic for Chrysler Corporation. Valentine was actively involved in Sweetest Heart of Mary parish in Detroit
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Sophia Krause.
He is survived by his brothers: George, John and Michael.
