Vernon served his country in the United States Air Force. Vernon was a hard worker. Working many extra hours to provide the best for his family. Vernon loved music and family gatherings . Easy going and laid back. Vernon lived to spend time with his family. They were his world especially his grandchildren.
Vernon is survived by; sons Kevin Griffith and Glenn (Paula) Griffith; daughter Kelly (Ty) Younce; grandchildren Joshua Griffith, Jacob Griffith, Jessica Griffith, Tyler Younce and Rachael Younce.
Vernon was preceded in death by his wife Gina Griffith.
Visitation for Vernon will be on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of his the service at 11:00 am at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, Michigan. He will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Memorial Gardens, 17840 Middlebelt Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vernon's memory may be made to American Diabetes Association.
