Victoria Van Gorder

Vicky passed away July 24, 2016 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Glen (40 years). Loving mother of Stefanie and Geoffrey. Dear grandmother of Tyler. Cherished sister of Deborra (Larry) Warren and Sue (Wayne) Pontin. Vicky is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and friends. Vicky received a Master’s Degree from Moody’s Theological Seminary and worked in Christian Counseling. She volunteered at Life Challenge in Detroit and Huron Valley Women’s Prison in Ypsilanti. In 1999, she was blessed to have the opportunity to donate one of her kidneys to her dear friend Rick Kirsch.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28 from 4-8pm, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Funeral Service Friday, July 29 at 11am (in state 10am) at Northridge Chapel 12401 N. Ridge Road in Plymouth. Interment at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
