   I would like to say a little about my dad who my mom, my brother, and I are missing a great deal right now.  He was truly the best dad that a son could ask for.  He had so many awesome traits.  He was super honest, caring, forgiving, hardworking, super smart, super talented, and one of the biggest go-getters I've ever encountered.  The best thing of all was that he was religious and loved Jesus and God.  He handed that down to me, and I love him so much for teaching me about the men upstairs.  What makes me so happy, as that he died was the most beautiful Jesus picture on his chest.  When my mom had him cremated, she found the Jesus picture still on his chest.  I know he is with Jesus, and God right now, and in a much better place because he suffered greatly before his passing and it was unbearable to witness.
  My dad was always helping people by donating to charities, and always helping animals.  He was always feeding stray cats, and when I tried to help him when his health was failing, I would up rescuing three of my own kittie kids which are like my children.  I wouldn't have gotten them if it were not for the kind heart of my dad caring for them.  My dad would have given the shirt off of his back to a stranger in need. He was just one of the most giving, and caring, people I know.
  Every week he brought my mom a fresh bouquet of flowers.  March 9th would have been my parent's 48th anniversary.  I bought my mom a beautiful bouquet of flowers, like my dad would have done, and told her:  "These are from dad."
  His amazing talent, and skill, in his hands, with his welding, brought us out of the poverty of renting homes in Detroit.  We moved to the suburbs because of his successful business that he started on his own in 1974 called Starlite Welding.  He had worked for others prior without success, and it took great guts to go out on his own, and it paid off because of his great dedication, talent, and people skills. 
   He was always a go-getter, and always on the move.  He was always going to car shows, going out to eat, going for walks at the mall, feeding stray cats, going to work. He never stopped moving, and why he accomplished so much in his life.  Few people have acheived the successes he achieved in his life. 
  My dad worked many hours overtime to create a better life for us.  But on the weekends, he became a big kid, and took us to playrounds, bowling, mini-golf, hikes in the woods, out to eat, swimming, etc. etc.  Sometimes, we would just play board games together as a family.  He didn't have much of a childhood, but he got to relive his childhood through my brother Andy, and I.
  He had a great passsion for old cars, and was the original founder of a hot rod club that he started 30 years ago. He was always going to car shows on a weekly basis. He made so many great friends, from the car club, throughout the years, and they were really great people.  So many of them came and showed their support at his memorial service.  They even came up to me to console me, even though many of them I'd never even met.
   My mom, brother, and me, along with many other extended family members, and friends, will always feel a void in their life, now that my dad is gone from this earth.  Things will never be the same without my dad.  Who else will always have my back now that he is gone except for my mother?  I will continue to feed his stray cats, and help others when given the opportunity.  My dad was a model example to live by and I wan't to do everything in my power to continue his legacy and follow in his footsteps.  
   I want to thank everyone who attended my dad's memorial service and showed their support.  It really made things better for us.  Dad, if you can read this from heaven above, I love you with all my heart, and hopefully, by the grace of Jesus, and God, we will some day all meet you again in a much happier place.

With sympathy and condolences to the Milewski family.  Wally was a kool kat, a great guy and a dear friend.  We will miss him deeply.

Wally you will be missed. I'm glad I got to tell you as an adult how appreciative I was of you. As a kid I spent many Friday and Saturday nights in the back of whatever old car you had at the time, Trips to St Ignace, The Fairgrounds, and countless cruise nights are still some of my best childhood memories. You served your country in Vietnam and came back to start a thriving business built on your tireless work ethic. Your love of your Family was always very easy to see. Till we meet again Wally keep your hand on the wheel and the rubber on the road...you will be missed

I am honored and blessed to have known Wally He was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. My condolences.
