Uncle Bill was more than an Uncle to me.  My hope is that I'm half the man he was.  Always looked up to him as an example of how a man, father, husband was supposed to be.  Along with Aunt Bev, they were the glue that held our family together.  He always had a way of keeping everyone honest around him.  Will miss him so much and am blessed to have known him.

He, along with his better half, Aunt Bev, were the glue that held our family together.  He always had a way of keeping everyone honest around him with his whit and humor.  Will miss him so much and am blessed to have known him.

My memories of Uncle Bill. 
As a young child were that he terrified me, with his booming baritone voice that seemed to rattle the windows. He was always so kind though. And funny, he would say something funny and not crack a smile. He was a father figure after my father passed. Many fond memories, ice skating in the backyard, summer barbeques, times at the cottage, so many happy fun times. I loved my Uncle Bill very much!

Our Uncle Bill was a treasure to us all. His smile was contagious and my Grandchildren all have a $2.00 bill that he gave them. This is something special they will keep forever. He will be missed by all of us. Our love and hugs are with all of you. Karen, Bruce and family

Bill was a combination father and brother to me.  He was always there to try and guide me and give me support.  I have many wonderful memories of him.  He taught me how to drive, and when I got my license, thanks to him, he let me take his brand new car and cruise Woodward with my teenage friends!  Who does that?  A very caring and generous man!
My heart goes out to his whole family as he loved them dearly.
It is hard to imagine what Bev is going through without him.  When they came to visit us in Florida, I walked into the living room and caught them hugging and kissing.  They were blessed with true love.  Bill, rest in peace!!  You will never be forgotten.

My Uncle Bill was the best Uncle ever!  Always there whenever you needed him.  My deepest sympathy for our Aunt Bev, cousins Mark, Diane and their Familes. My memories of Uncle Bill will never leave fade; He was a father figure for Tamlyn & I ; lord knows he changed the trajectory of my life. In the darkest days when our Brian was sick he welcomed my mom, sister & I to that little slice of heaven on earth at Lake Arrowhead. He is the finest man I have ever known; His love for his family encompassed his extended relatives too. I pray for comfort for my beautiful Aunt Bev; They were a dynamic duo till the end. Bill was always a busy, helpful and generous man.  He loved his family and friends tremendously.  We had so many great times up at the cottage, golfing, hanging out, playing cards etc.  He would give you the shirt off his back and loved to joke around.  He will be truly missed.
