

Zina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor in 2019. She will be dearly missed by her son Eugene (Andrea) Diachenko, daughters Tania (Bruce) Blanton and Julia (Michael) Inglis, grandchildren Larissa Inglis, Eva Diachenko, Daniel (Dana) Diachenko, Meredith (Steve) Wheeler, and Anne Ball-Blanton (Tony Raymaker), and great-grandchildren Robert, Paige, Makayla and Makenzie and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Zina was known to be an amazing homemaker with a focus on family. She was an avid gardener (both flowers and vegetables) a beyond-wonderful cook, baker, and an excellent seamstress, always expressing her natural creativity. She was able to sew almost anything without using a pattern. Zina was devout in her faith and in the past was very active in her church. Most importantly, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren.
She was forever grateful to come to this country and become a US citizen. Her favorite song was God Bless America.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 1st, from 3pm-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Livonia with a Panikhida Service at 7pm. The Committal Service and interment will take place on Thursday, September 2nd at 12pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Zina's honor can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Marywood Nursing Care Center in Livonia.
