Suddenly passed away on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, at Victoria Hospital in his 61st year. Cherished husband of Margaret. Will be missed by his children Alicia K. Stevens (Dave Ireland), Shona M. Stevens (Steve Huber), Ivan Knockwood, Cassandra Cooper(Chris Bawben) and Pete Cooper (Jamie Cooper). Dear grandfather of Ivan Jr, Jozef, Reece, Nicola, Devin, Ashleigh and NyLa. Beloved sibling of Judy (Bill) Szucsko, Jack, Richard (Charlene) Cooper, Mary (Guy) Johnson, Susie (Don) Peterson, Jim (Elaina) Cooper, Frank Cooper, Shawn (Debbie) Cooper and Dave (Kristen) Cooper. Gene was predeceased by his siblings Bonnie and Joe Cooper and his parents Harold and Beatrice Cooper. Friends and family will be received at NEEDHAM FUNERAL SERVICE (520 Dundas Street) on Saturday, June 10th from 1pm to 3pm with a funeral service to follow at 3pm.
