On April 18, 2018 The Lord in his infinite wisdom relieved Alice(Alie) Elisabeth Vanderveen (nee Schenk) of her earthly struggles and pain in her 82nd year, she lost her battle with Parkinson's, but won her heavenly crown.
"Blessed the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits. "(Psalm 103:2)
We will celebrate her life on Monday April 23, 2018 at 2:00pm at Bethel Christian Reform Church, London Ontario. Alice is survived by her loving husband Andy, of 61 years, and their beloved children and grand children Betty & John Haagsma, Brent, Samara & Kevin Postma, Jared Haagsma & Becky Sinasac, Brianna & Nick Holt, Kasey & Liz Vanderveen, Cory, Andrew, Daniel, Natalie & Josh Broekema, Diane & Ralph Bakker, Leah & Ken Mercer, Aaron, Janelle & Greg, Adrianna, Sharon Vanderveen & Jeff Howard, Tristan, Keenan, Noel and 9 great grandchildren.
Sympathies may be expressed through donation to the Salvation Army or to Parkinson's Research.
