Arnold Peter Benjaminsen

Arnold Peter Benjaminsen passed away October 18, 2011 in his 91st year. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 61 years Antonia and his sons Gary and Michael, and his daughter-in-law Paula. Opa will always be fondly remembered by his grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Brandon, Grace, Amanda, and Abby. He also leaves behind family and friends in the Netherlands. In WWII he served in the Dutch Army and the Royal Dutch Navy, and after the war transferred to the Royal Dutch Air Force. He will be remembered as an avid philatelist who was an active member and the Executive of the Middlesex Stamp Club and the London Philatelic Society. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lyon's medical team and the staff at LHSC-University Campus 6th floor palliative care unit. A very special thanks to Cathy and Fiona for their wonderful care. Visitation at NEEDHAM FUNERAL SERVICE (520 Dundas St, London) on Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at 1:00pm.
