Betty G Seymour

Peacefully in her sleep on August 18, 2012, Betty Grace Seymour (nee Bowern) of London in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur (Bill) Seymour (1992). Loving mother of Kathryn Pawitch (Jerry) of Strathroy, Barbara Sampson ((Fred) of St. Thomas and Julie Quaite of London. Dear grandmother of Sherry Venturelli (Turk), Darrell Sampson (Michelle), the late Thomas Bett (1987) and April, Candice and Hollie Quaite. Blessed with great grandchildren Davia,and Karley Venturelli and Carter and Kennedy Sampson. Survived by sister-in-law Rev. Sue MacGregor and her son Jamey of Kelowna of B.C. as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Ethel Bowern (nee Mead), brothers Ernest and Harold and sister Mae Hurst. Betty came rushing into the world in June of 1925 weighing 1 ½ pounds and was always extremely grateful for her life. Betty enjoyed many hobbies including Bowling, sewing, knitting and baking. Friends will be received at the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St) on Tuesday August 21, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 22 at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. In memory of Betty contributions to Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated.
