McCORMACK, Desire Ethel – Peacefully in her 91st year, passed away at home on April 24th 2018. Loving wife of Roy McCormack (1989). Predeceased by parents Wilfred and Annie Jacques, brother Wyman (Joyce) and granddaughter Andrea Brooks. Desire will be deeply missed by sister Linda Bronn (Pete), daughter Karen Brooks (Steve), son John McCormack, grandchildren Sylvia and Labon, great-grandchildren Nathan, AJ and Dominik and many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by friends Ulrich, Joan Alexander, Brenda Wilms, Don and Rosemary Kaikkonen and neighbor of 40+ years, Jim Gardiner. Desire was an active member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to visitation, April 27th 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at NEEDHAM FUNERAL SERVICE (520 Dundas Street). A funeral service will take place the following day, April 28th 2018 at 10am in the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Mission Services London.
