Dian Margaret Babin

BABIN, Dian - It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret “Dian” Babin announces her passing after a short battle with cancer on Sunday November 8, 2015 at Victoria Hospital. She was born in Parry Sound and settled in London, ON to raise her family. She enjoyed her friends and activities within the community.

Dian, will be lovingly remembered by her children, Arthur “Art” (Carmen), Joseph “Joey”, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Bill) Davies and John (Crystal). Dian will also be fondly remembered by her grand-children, Christie (Julian) Aveiro, Ashley, William, and Savannah and great grandchild Bailey. Also cherished by her brothers and sister Anthony (Vera), Clarence (late Carole), Brenda (late Leslie). Dian was predeceased by her husband Arthur “Art”, parents Margaret (nee Conroy) and Edgar Donston, her brother Edward (Gretchen) and sisters Evelyne (Mike), Anne-Claire (Gerald) and Col-leen (Ronald).

The family would like to thank all the staff at Victoria Hospital and Cancer Society for their compassion and care during our time of need.

Visitation will take place at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas) on Monday November 16, 2015 from 11:00am-1:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow. An internment will follow at Woodland Cemetery and reception will be held afterwards. Memorial donations in memory of Dian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated.
