Rip Don. You will always be remembered, especially playing hockey in Victoria park. Condolences to the family. Great memories.

Dear Kim, my heart broke hearing this sad news today. My memories of you and Donny have always made me smile, from making your wedding dress so you could marry the love of your life, to the day I ran into you both at Costco and Donny told me to watch my mail for the speeding ticket I’d probably get from Quebec on my drive down home ( I never got one, lol ). You and Donny were always the perfect example to everyone what real love was. Just in case you didn’t already know, I love you and I always loved Donny too. He will be so missed. Anytime you need to talk or need a shoulder, I’m here. Love xoxoxo to all the family. Dorothy Doucette & Harry Wust

Donnie was a man far above most men. I will always be greatful for his help, support and compassion when I was battling health issues. A loss none that knew him will forget.

Donnie was an answer to prayer. A few years back, I was with my grandson, Adam, at Six Flags Darien Lake. He would not eat or drink because of a fear with washrooms. We were standing outside the washrooms, and Donnie happens to come by with family. I explained the problem and Donnie helped us out by taking Adam under his wing. Adam, went on the rides with the family and had a great day. Adam is Donnie's nephew. God placed Donnie and family that day, that time, that many miles away in the United States in time of a real need!

We are friends with Missy and Ty. I remember Missy talking about her Dad over the years and I always thought this guy sounds cool, can't wait to meet him. Well during the summer of 2017 up at Pine Lake Campground we finally got that chance. Donny and Kim were up often to visit Missy and Ty and we became instant friends. Soon after they got their own place at Pine Lake, I always looked forward to having a beer with Donny by the fire each weekend. My sons took to Donny's playful demeanor. They called him "Donatello" from the ninja turtles movies. First thing Josh would do when we arrived each Friday night was to go walk over to Donatello's place and see if they were up. Kim's salads became legendary at the campground, and Donny and I would chuckle about the amount she made.
Although we only got to spend a couple seasons up there with Donny, we will treasure those memories for ever. Donny, Kim and their family are like family to us. We will miss you dearly my friend. Cheers from the Campfire..........
